Often
animals are denied their rights: many are subjected to suffering,
some forced to live in captivity
and other even risk extinction. This is a situation that does
not need to exist, but we need your help to change it.
How does Nata Libera attempt to achieve this:
- By offering
a lifeline to animals in distress
- By restoring
the dignity and respect these animals deserve
- Alleviate
suffering of animals in need of care and attention
- Stop
any type of cruelty to wild and domestic animals
- Maintain
and protect species in their natural habitat
- Developing
and expanding our sanctuary for homing of animals in
need
- Creation
of interesting educational activities/projects for schoolchildren
- Operating
efficient communications network with authorities/public
for reaching out promptly
to
animals in distress
- Increase
awareness enabling us to reach out to these animals in
time, helping us to
give back
to these
animals what has
been denied to them.
Our structure
Nata Libera is based at our Scalveis Sanctuary in the
North of Italy on the foothills of the
Alps, a beautiful location
for the animals with foothills and woodlands
rising gently to a height of 750 m above sea
level. Animals that cannot
be rehomed are offered a place for life
at NL provided
they are
suited to this kind of environment. Sanctuary
already includes suitable shelters and enclosures,
convalescence and rehabilitation
areas and equipment and we continue to
make every effort to expand and improve facilities.
We have
a
local vet
who cares
for the animal on a daily basis and a
number of volunteers who make a great effort to provide
for
various
animal
needs. |
